Quality Orthodontic Care In Niagara Falls

At Niagara Peninsula Orthodontics, our mission is to provide the highest quality in orthodontic care while maintaining a fun, friendly, and welcoming office environment. Dr. Pershad and our highly trained team of orthodontic specialists work hard to treat every patient on an individual basis, crafting specialized treatment plans that perfectly fit each patient's unique orthodontic needs. We treat patients with a wide variety of orthodontic conditions, which is why we're proud to offer a diverse array of treatment options - including several kinds of braces.

Traditional Metal Braces

Traditional Metal Braces. These are what most people think of when they hear the word braces. They're composed of brackets and wires made of high-grade stainless steel, and they provide a reliable, comfortable, and cost-effective method of orthodontic treatment. Best of all, we offer colored elastics, so you can customize your braces to suit your personal sense of style!

Ceramic (Clear) Braces

Ceramic Braces.Clear braces are similar to metal braces, but their brackets are made from a translucent (clear) ceramic composite material, so they blend in with teeth and are far less noticeable than traditional braces. While they carry an aesthetic advantage, there are some tradeoffs: They're more fragile than regular braces and typically require more frequent visits to the office.

Lingual Braces

Lingual Braces.Lingual braces are just as powerful and reliable as traditional braces - but completely invisible. That's because the brackets are mounted on the back side (tongue side) of the teeth, making them completely invisible to others! While their aesthetic appeal is undeniable, they tend to cost more and take longer to get used to than regular braces.

Self-Ligating Braces

These are similar to metal braces, but they use a special, tie-less clip to hold the archwire instead of elastic bands. This means you'll need fewer visits to our office and your treatment time will be shorter - and we can offer them with clear, ceramic, or metal brackets.

Invisalign does away with brackets and wires altogether, instead using a series of clear, removable plastic trays – called aligners – to straighten teeth. They're virtually invisible when worn and can be removed to eat, drink, brush, and floss, which gives them a lot of convenience over traditional braces. While it offers a variety of advantages, Invisalign tends to cost more than regular braces and it’s not right for all conditions.
